Hamburg, NY---City Delight, a two-year-old Bettor’s Delight filly, out of the Western Hanover mare Western City won in 1:59.2, for owners W J Donovan and Joe Sbrocco, in the $23,648 division of the New York Sire Stakes here at Buffalo Raceway Friday night (July 23).

NY Sire Stakes Colt Trotters At Buffalo

Hamburg, NY – The New York Sire Stakes circuit makes one last stop at Buffalo Raceway on Saturday night, July 24, first post time 6:40 pm.  Seven divisions of freshman colt trotters will take to the Hamburg Oval going for close to $20,000 in purse money.

Vernon Downs Holds Freshman NYSS Late Closers on Friday, October 15

VERNON, NY  -  The 2-year-olds Mosee Terror, Dreamy Dawn, Winona and Forty Three were each crowned New York Sires Stakes late-closing champions, while another state-bred titlist, Blacktuxwhitesocks, captured Friday night’s top division of the Miracle Mile trot at Vernon Downs.

Favorites Prevail in 5 Late Closer Splits at Monticello Raceway

Monticello, NY  -  On Thursday afternoon July 22, five divisions of New York Sire Stakes late closers for sophomore pacing colts and geldings went to post and when they were completed the betting favorite prevailed in every event.
