Batavia, NY, September 11, 2010  -   It was quite a weekend at Batavia Downs Casino.  On Friday night a new track record was established for three-year-old trotting fillies, and then equaled later in the evening.  On Saturday night the Downs hosted the first-ever high school scholarship race for five high school seniors from Genesee County.

Batavia, NY  -  The unbeaten freshman filly pacing sensation See You At Peelers puts her eight-race winning streak on the line when she takes on seven other rivals in a $44,820 New York Sires stakes event on Wednesday night (Sept. 8) at Batavia Downs Casino.  More than $144,000 in New York Sire Stakes purses will be offered.

NYSS Sophomore Trotting Fillies to Race at Monticello on June 9

Monticello, NY  --  For the first time in the 52-year history of Monticello Raceway 15 races are carded on a single afternoon race program. The barn-burning action will get underway on Wednesday, June 9   bolstered by seven divisions of the $188,000 NY Sire Stakes for sophomore trotting fillies. The fillies will strut their stuff in races 2,3,4,6,8,9 and 11.
